The MAAPFoundation was founded in response to witnessing the crisis happening all over Uganda when impoverished moms needing urgent medical care are refused because they cannot pay. Our foundation is a US charitable 501 organization that uses microfinance to empower local village clinics to help struggling local women and babies. US sponsors invest generously in starting a small local farm that generates sustainable ongoing profits. The profits defer fees for qualified patients and the community grows in economic empowerment learning business.
