A 22 year old Uganda mother and baby died in childbirth in a Kyotera village where the MAAPFoundation hopes to work. She died unable to arrange $21 for maternity clinic fees so she chose a traditional birth attendant for less than $5.00. She bled to death. Her coffin costs $21.00. How sad but motivating and challenging for MAAPFOUNDATION . Our model saves some lives as we help villages create their own charity model.
